It’s time to celebrate the end of the academic year! Join us for our first ever DSU Celebrates event - A Night at the Casino!

The event, held over three floors in the Campus Centre building on the evening of Friday 24 May, promises to be a night to remember as we celebrate all that you’ve achieved at De Montfort University (DMU) in 2018/19.

Mollie Footitt, DP of Education at DSU, said: “I can't wait for the first ever 'DSU Celebrates' event because it’s at that time of year where we get to celebrate student achievements, get dressed up, celebrate and enjoy some incredible entertainment"

“For me it’s going to be truly special – I'm really looking forward to being able to celebrate student achievements while also seeing a full venue transformation of the Campus Centre.”

Tickets are just £20 per person and include;

  • drink on arrival;
  • food stalls;
  • three floors of surprise entertainment;
  • a casino;
  • awards presentation;
  • entry to the official after party at DSU;
  • and some *unforgettable* performances!

The event is open to DMU students of all years (a plus one non-DMU student is also welcome, but you will need to buy a ticket on their behalf).

This year's theme for DSU Celebrates is A Night at the Casino and will see a full transformation of the Campus Centre including a casino, entertainment and food stalls between 7:00pm-9:00pm followed by awards and performances from 9:00pm-10:30pm.

After the awards students are invited to join the official after party in the DSU Function Rooms to truly celebrate the end of the year in style.

There is only a super limited amount of tickets on offer, so grab yours from the page here now to avoid disappointment.

The DSU Celebrates awards will recognise some of the individuals, sports clubs and societies who have made the year extra special.
