DSU Advice is a free, confidential and independent service for current DMU students.

The service has a team of advisers who are able to help with a range of welfare and academic queries. In some cases we can also act as a companion at university meetings.

If we can't help you, we can also usually refer you to someone who can.

If you are contacting us regarding an appeal for your termination due to attendance/non-payment of fees, we would encourage you to start your appeal by; Reflecting on your circumstances, show contrition, state your reasons for non-attendance, find your evidence supporting your claims and explain what will change in the future.

How are we governed?

DSU Advice has its own Code of Practice which governs all of the procedures and processes of the service. This covers areas such as confidentiality, conflict of interest, the standard of help you can expect from us as well as your responsilbities when you use this service.
