We need YOUR help to spread some festive cheer this Christmas!
Volunteering at De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) is working with local charity Toys on the Table this festive season to provide toys and gifts for children in the Leicester and Leicestershire area who might otherwise not receive anything this Christmas.
This is DSU’s sixth year working with the project and the goal has been set to collect and wrap more gifts than ever before. And this is where YOU come in!
To get involved, you can donate new or unused toys with a value between £5 and £10. Donated toys can be handed in at DSU's Reception (in The Art Factory) by 4pm on Monday 12 December.
Once all gifts have been collected, we'll be coordinating The Big Wrap on Wednesday 14 December in The Hub (also in The Art Factory) between 12 midday and 3pm. We need loads of volunteers to help with this mammoth task!
You can pop in to help wrap for a few minutes, or the full event. What better way to get into the festive spirit than wrapping gifts for local children?!
