We are one of the most diverse universities in the country – a fact that we at De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) are particularly proud of. With that in mind, DSU are taking part in national Interfaith Week from Monday 14 to Sunday 20 November with a series of events designed to celebrate diversity in faith, led by DSU’s VP Welfare and Community Keira Rounsley and VP Student Activities Ahtesham Mahmood.
Each weekday of the campaign will start with a ‘Fruits of Faith’ coffee morning in The Hub in The Art Factory. Join us for a free breakfast and coffee whilst you have a chat with different student groups about their beliefs.
There will then be a range of other events taking place each day, from origami art to a games tournament, to a film night to sports in the QEII – there’s something for everyone! Take a look at the full events calendar below.
DSU is proud to be working with these lovely people for Interfaith Week!
Special thanks to the Interfaith Youth Trust for their support.
