What is Airsoft?

Airsoft is a game in which participants eliminate opponents by hitting each other with spherical non-metallic pellets launched via replica firearms called Airsoft guns.

What does DMU Airsoft do?

DMU Airsoft are a student led society, we aim to compete in an a yearly inter-University competition of a team of 8. We hope to have multiple teams enter to increase our odd’s. Not only do we enter at inter-University level, we have our own Competitions. We aim to improve your physical fitness, along with building on our team work as a society.

Do I need a airsoft gun?

No, but it is recommended. Having your own weapon and gear, will reduce the price of your games as you wont need to hire gear.

How do I buy a weapon?

In order to purchase a weapon you need to be over the ages of 18 and be a holder of a UKARA licence.

How do I get a UKARA Licence and what is it?

UKARA stands for United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association. In order to get one you must attended 3 games within 2 months and get a for filled out every time. But don’t worry we will help with all the technical things.
