Mmm, pancakes – we love 'em! So when we realised at De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) that Pancake Day is coming up this Tuesday we got very excited!
To celebrate, we’re adding two flipping (sorry!) fantastic specials to the Milly Lane’s menu for this Tuesday 28 February only. Join us at Milly Lane’s in the Campus Centre for double pancakes with a choice of Bacon and Maple Syrup or Banana, Strawberry and Maple Syrup for just £2.50 all day.
And the best bit? Every penny of profit from the pancakes and all of the other freshly made food and drink at Milly Lane’s is re-invested into your students’ union. We’re the only charitable food and drinks place on campus.
We also want to challenge you to ‘The Big Toss!’ at the DSU reception from 1pm to 2pm, where you have 30 seconds to successfully flip a pancake as many times as possible. You’ll then go on to our leaderboard, with the top five flippers each winning a pair of tickets to next Wednesday’s InJUNCTION night out at XY!
So get those biceps flexed, those tastebuds ready and we’ll see you for some pancake fun in the Campus Centre this Tuesday.
