Mollie Footitt, Deputy President (DP) Education for the past two years at DSU, has run twice in the Elections.

She said: "Elections is a wonderfully mad week, you’ll be talking nonstop and will definitely wander around campus more than ever before"

"When I ran it really helped me as I was really shy and it pushed me out of my comfort zone"

"Running in the Elections was a overall a great experience, not only from a self-development side but also as an opportunity to meet some wonderful people from across campus and develop new ideas that can help improve everyone’s time at DMU."

"I would certainly recommend the experience and encourage students to get involved"
