Choosing the students who will lead your students' union

The new full-time executive Officer Team positions, as laid out in the Bye-Laws of the students’ union, are;

• Union Development Executive
• Academic Executive
• Equality and Diversity Executive
• Student Opportunities and Engagement Executive
• Welfare Executive

Additionally, the part-time representative positions (also laid out in the Bye-Laws) are;

• Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Representative
• Disabled Students’ Representative
• International Students’ Representative
• Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer Plus (LGBTQ+) Representative
• Mature Students' Representative
• Postgraduate Students’ Representative
• Women’s Representative

You will also be able to stand for and vote for the National Union of Students (NUS) delegates.

There will be a second election where Course Rep, Student Group Committees and the new student ‘Zones’ will be open for nominations and voting. The nominations for this will open on Friday 3 April 2020.
