De Montfort Students' Union is looking for a Venues Manager to be responsible for the management and successful operation of the Venues department, including: licenced trade, the delivery of internal and external events, to meet the organisations strategic aims and objectives. To be responsible for ensuring legal compliance and adherence to relevant legislation, developing policies and procedures as applicable and to act as the designated premises supervisor and licence holder for De Montfort Students’ Union.
The post holder will be expected to play a major role in the short term departmental plans and longer term strategic vision of the licensed trade, catering provision and entertainments that are offered by DSU
Hours of work: 37 hours per week including some weekend and unsociable hours
Responsible to: Head of Income Generation & Enterprise
Supervision: Venue Supervisor, Student Staff
