Student Council

Education Councils and Activities Councils are two democratic meetings which set the policies of the Students’ Union (SU). It is an open meeting where every one is welcome. So if you have a campaign you want to start, something you want the SU to do, or if you want something completely new then the councils are the place to go.

We have two councils, the Education Council and Activities Council, both hold your elected Officers to account, so if their is anything that you are unhappy about, or if you want to praise your elected reps, then come to council.

If you want to submit an idea to either council just email voice@dmu.ac.uk. If you need some help developing your idea please come and visit the Student Voice office in the Campus Centre Building Room 1.11.
