This hub is not just for those with mental health problems. Everyone has mental health needs to be attended to and we could all benefit from a little more encouragement and know-how.
Our objective is to help you achieve greater balance and happiness. This may mean different things to different people, but we could characterise ‘good’ mental health as the ability to learn, to feel and express emotion, to connect with others and having the resilience to manage uncertainty and change. We believe this is attainable by everyone, even those with a mental health diagnosis. Therefore this practical guide aims to inform, encourage, network and better equip students for the emotional and financial challenges of student life.
