Do you identify as a feminist, keen to learn more about this empowering movement, or looking for a fun environment to discuss controversial topics? Then you should join DMU’s very own Feminist Society!

Regardless of gender, age, race, sexuality and religion, we aim to create a safe-space for all students who are passionate about global social issues and using their voice to empower themselves and others around them. We will be holding biweekly debates on topics voted for by our members, creating an online magazine to spread awareness of social issues and thought provoking topics, holding Q+A sessions with inspiring guests and organising fundraising events throughout the year for selected charities that our members will be able to vote for. In addition to these, we aim to hold a trip to the annual London’s Women’s March where students can experience one of the most empowering displays of unity in the UK.
