The Arabic society is a contact hub for all Arab and non-Arab students at De Montfort University. This society aims to grant the students a greater insight into the Arab culture and its history through a variety of events such as: shisha nights, fundraising events, volunteering, trips, Arabic theme parties...etc. This gives the students an opportunity to engage with others, make friends, and most importantly enhance their interpersonal skills. In the light of community service, the Arabic Society will place considerable emphasis on volunteering and fundraising events which will give the members a chance to generate a positive contribution to the community.
Do you miss the Arabic culture? Are you Arab and homesick? Or are you non-Arab and curious to learn more about the Arabic culture? Whether it is enjoyment, volunteering, or music you're after, the Arabic society has something for everyone. The society is open to people from all backgrounds and the committee members will ensure that all members are greeted with utmost hospitality.
We'd love for you to be part of our society and join in!
