The Universites of Leicester (DMU & UOL) Bhangra Society is a long standing and well-known society which sets out to promote the best of Punjabi culture through the medium of Bhangra. In addition to our weekly classes, we will also host events such as Bhangra nights which will most definitely live up to your expectations!
After placing 1st at Capital Bhangra 2018, 3rd in The Bhangra Showdown 2019 held at The Eventim Apollo, 2nd at The Bhangra Showdown 2020 held at NEC Birmingham, we are aiming to come back bigger and better.
Whether you are a beginner wanting to try something new or you know all the moves on the dance floor; looking to test your fitness or make new friends - we guarantee you a society experience you won't forget!

Annual Membership: £TBC
Our annual membership fee supports the funding of our events and activities throughout the year. Membership can be bought at any point in the year, and all memberships will expire at the end of the 2023/24 academic year.
