DMU Sapphic Society is a space set up by queer people, for queer people. We want to create a place where sapphic people, the wider queer community and allies can come together, meet new people and make friends.
Even though we’re called Sapphic Society, you don’t have to be sapphic to join us! We’re open to all queer people and allies and want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable getting involved.
We’ll be doing a mix of things throughout the year, including nights out, craft nights, socials and other fun events. Whether you want to go out, get creative, meet new people or just have somewhere to hang out, there’ll be something for you.
Most importantly, we want to build a friendly and welcoming community at DMU where people can meet others, make friends and feel like they have a space to be themselves.
Whether you’re already involved in the queer community or just looking to meet some new people, everyone is welcome. Come along and get involved!
