De Montfort Students' Union Student Engagement

De Montfort University (DMU) has launched your new timetable system to give you a more personalised, smoother and reliable way to manage your university schedule.

What's new?

The new system will provide you with access to your timetable alongside University-wide event feeds, push notifications and important updates, including changes to scheduled activities.

You will also benefit from a direct in-app messaging service and announcements, helping you stay up to date with important information and communications from the University.

And it's all thanks to your feedback!

How do I access my timetable?

Head over to MyDMU, which can be accessed either through the DMU app or www.my.dmu.ac.uk. The app is the most convenient way to access your timetable and can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play store.

Once you log in to MyDMU, you will see two timetable tiles;

  • Timetable: This tile will show you the next event in your timetable at a glance and clicking this icon will take you to a monthly overview.
  • Online Timetable: This tile will take you through to www.mytimetable.dmu.ac.ukm, where you can access additional monthly timetable features such as getting alerts regarding changes to your timetable. Please note that by default you will not receive alerts. You have to opt in through clicking the profile button in the menu on the top left side of the screen.

Finally, through the 'Online timetable' tile, you can integrate your timetable with a digital, personal calendar using iCal technology. Simply click the ‘Subscribe’ button in the top right corner of your screen. If you don't see your app displayed select the 'More’ option.

When will you be able to access your timetables?

Timetables will be released to different groups of students throughout September.

All first year students, including Further Education Level 0, Further Education Level 3 and Integrated Masters Level 4 students will receive their timetables on Tuesday 15 September from 9am.
*This may take several days to come through to you. If you haven’t received your timetable by week commencing 21st September, please contact Faculty Student Advice Centre.
