Following feedback from students and Course Reps, your Students’ Union has continued to work with the University on enabling students to view their recorded attendance.
The University has confirmed that the planned self-service functionality cannot currently be introduced as originally anticipated due to the technical requirements involved. Instead, it has been identified as a high priority within the University’s current student record system project, with the University aiming to deliver the functionality as soon as it is possible to do so.
In the meantime, students who would like to know their current recorded attendance can request this through their faculty’s designated attendance email address:
Students can also visit their Faculty Student Advice Centre or the New Student Support Hub at Gateway House for in-person guidance and support.
As a DMU Student you do not need to wait until you receive an attendance communication to ask about the attendance information held about you.
If at any point you believe your attendance has been recorded incorrectly, you can also use the relevant attendance contact above to raise this with the University.
Your Students’ Union will continue to work with the University while the full student-facing functionality is being developed.
