De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) and De Montfort University (DMU) are looking for natural-born leaders to represent their fellow students by becoming School Representative Coordinators (SRCs).

SRCs are students who work to make positive change for their peers at a school level as part of the Course Rep system. To be an SRC we want you to be enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills and be able to motivate fellow students to engage in university issues.

But we recognise this is a massive job – especially if you’re deep in your studies. That’s why in return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive £600 per year.

You’ll also be fully trained in the role; not only to guarantee you’re best prepared to represent your fellow DMU students, but also to ensure you get the most out of your time as an SRC, too!

For more information and to apply before the deadline of 12pm on Friday 17 March 2017, click here. Or, if you have any questions, email src@dmu.ac.uk.

Incoming SRCs at last year's summer training session were joined by Dr Abigail Moriarty (left), Director of Teaching and Learning at DMU.
