Here at De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU), we’re giving you the chance to share your opinions and shape the future of your SU.

DSU is here to represent your academic interests and inspire you to make the most of your time at De Montfort University (DMU). But to do this we need your help! We want to know what we can do to ensure that your student experience is the very best and that’s why we’ve launched the Shape Your SU survey.

Whilst giving us your invaluable feedback you could also have a chance at getting your hands on some great prizes!

Students who complete the survey will be entered into a random prize draw to win:

  • £100 cash prize;
  • or one of 10 De Montfort University Hoodies.

We will also give everyone who completes the survey 10% off a meal deal at SU’s Diner - our American style diner in the Campus Centre. All you will need to do is show your email confirmation, along with your student ID at DSU reception to collect your voucher once you've completed the survey.

Comments from the survey will help DSU ensure that student experience is exceptional. Survey is available to complete here.

Derrick Mensah, VP Student Activities at DSU, said: “The survey will give great insight into what students are thinking and creates a stronger understanding of how DSU can shape their strategic plan going forward.”

“Having more students complete the survey will give us a more accurate representation for us to make better and more informed decisions at trustee board in a hope to create a better experience for students.”

The survey aims to gain insight into what students engage with at DSU and what we can do as a Union to best represent you.

We’ll continue to feed all of your comments into campaigns and in meetings where your Officer Team lobby for your interests.
