Fight Racism – Fight Capitalism!
Boris Johnson and Donald Trump are not strange anomalies - aberrations thrown up accidentally. They are the chosen representatives of capital. They have come to power in 2 of the richest countries in the world. Their racism is not an individual quirk or nuance. Capitalism uses racism to cause divisions and conflict amongst the working class. Divide and rule is the hallmark of this rotten system.
Climate Crisis – Will it lead to Socialism or Barbarism?
The climate crisis is not only man-made (sic), created by a patriarchal, racist capitalist system. The “men in suits” responsible are clearly identifiable. They are the capitalist class. The so-called “wealth creators” who, in fact, create no wealth at all. They are the “wealth stealers”, leeching off the working class, who are the real wealth creators. Profit is not a legitimate concept. It is the unpaid labour of the working class. The insanity of a system based on pursuit of profit is clearly revealed in the climate crisis. Climate change denial is a natural response of the class who have exploited the earth’s natural resources ruthlessly and with no consideration for the environment. Pollution and excessive carbon emissions are to them a necessary evil to fill their coffers. 46 million people globally are condemned to modern slavery whilst 42 people, according to Oxfam, have more wealth than 3.7 billion people on the planet. Unfettered capitalism has not resulted in wealth trickling down to the poor but to an era of super-exploitation wherein human beings themselves are commodities to be used for sex, sweat-shop labour, and when they are of no further use, subjected to organ-harvesting. Barbarism, it would appear, is already here. Socialism is the only antidote
