Job title:                     Head of Membership Services

Salary :                       £39,152 per annum

Hours of work:          37 hours per week

Report to:                   Chief Executive Officer

Responsible for:       Student Voice, Student Opportunities & Activities, Student Advice & Support

At DSU, our mission is empower our students to create an unforgettable journey by looking out for their wellbeing, creating a sense of belonging and providing opportunities for all our members to get actively involved.  The Membership Services team is central in ensuring we achieve our aim to put the students’ union at the heart of the student journey by providing innovative and inclusive services that meet the needs of our dynamic and diverse student body.

This post will be instrumental in maintaining the strategic direction of the department, in line with the Union’s Strategy, whilst initiating new ideas and projects to increase student participation within the Membership Services areas.

You should have management experience within the field of membership services together with demonstrable experience of managing change and developing high quality services whilst managing a range of priorities and competing stakeholder needs.

Experience of managing and developing a team and building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders is also essential.
