#DMUpride - LGBTQ+ and Feminist Debate Pride Flag
Wednesday 20 February 2019 / 5pm - 8pm
For our final welfare of #DMUpride, we are joined and hosted by the Feminist society for a debate, discussing the topic of whether the brown and black stripes should be included on the pride flag.
As a debate topic, it is likely some may hold different views, but it is important to listen to and allow others arguments.
This session may contain sensitive information, and any personal stories shared in the room must stay in the room.
Anyone is free to join us at anytime throughout the year, no strings attached, even if you are not a member. Our sessions are very laid back and completely welcoming to anyone who wishes to join us. We are always looking forward to new faces.
Cakes, sweets and snacks are a regular occurrence at our sessions, we usually bring a spread ourselves, but do not hesitate to bring along any of your own food and drinks.
As a note however, due to this session being a welfare social (as well as campus policy), please do not bring and consume alcohol during our sessions.
