LGBTQ+ Welfare Wednesdays: Hate Crime Awareness

Wednesday 17 October 2018 / 5pm - 8pm

Queens Building, Room 0.12

Come join us for our weekly social drop in, which we call our Welfare Wednesdays.

These topic themed drop-in sessions are a great time to socialise with other LGBTQ+ students at DMU, in a safe environment, and you can come for as long or as little as you want. This weeks theme is Hate Crime Awareness.

During our Welfare Wednesday sessions, we host a range of activities across the year from games, music, films, crafts and many more.

Anyone is free to join us at anytime throughout the year, no strings attached. Our sessions are very laid back and completely welcoming to anyone who wishes to join us. We are always looking forward to new faces.

Cakes, sweets and snacks are a regular occurance at our sessions, we usually bring a spread ourselves, but do not hesitate to bring along any of your own food and drinks.

As a note however, due to this session being a welfare social (as well as campus policy), please do not bring and consume alcohol during our sessions.
