Fairtrade Producer Talk

Join the university's Environmental and Sustainability team as Fairtrade producer Esther Koskei, Chair of the Kabng’etuny Women in Coffee Association, gives a talk at Leicester City Hall about her work with the association and the Fairtrade Foundation.

The association is amde up of female coffee growers based in Kericho, Kenya, who work with the Fairtrade Foundation to empower women within their community by developing new skills, helping the women own their own coffee bushes and developing a project to create biogas from poultry waste.

The event begins at 5:30pm, but a party from DMU will meet on the Campus Centre steps at 5:00pm to walk to City Hall together.
