Hi, I am Ramish Ayub and I am a 2nd year marke5ng student (Bachelors)! Thank you for taking the 5me to read my manifesto. I am looking forward in improving your student experience at DMU. I really want to focus in helping students to get the best out of their educa5onal experience and to be specific I want to help every student the best I can in their academic affairs. I am strongly looking forward to be your next Academic Execu5ve officer for the year 2024-2025.
MOTIVATION:
To ensure your smooth journey at DMU
The transi5on and academic pressure can take a toll on your mental health, and I intend to be your go-to-person to hear your concerns regarding academic affairs.
INTENTIONS:
• Every student’s voice maXers! I will be the
bridge between students and university, I would like to ensure that the views of all
students from all facul5es and years are
represented.
• For instance, the poor mental health of
some students who struggle to provide the evidence to extend the due date of their assignment but were unsuccessful. For this problem, I can run a campaign to speed up the student’s access to the mental health services within a maximum of 1 week. So, the students can be able to provide the required evidence to extend their assignments.
• Emphasise the influence of course reps introducing drop-in sessions where they will be available at set 5mes weekly to discuss your worries.
• Most importantly I am looking forward to work on flexible 5metable for students so that you can give 5me to your part 5me works and other ac5vi5es alongside with the studies.
