Hello,
My name is Nicole Lindblad and I would like to be your next Student Opportunities and Engagement Executive Officer.
A few things about me:
- A 3rd-year Psychology student from Sweden.
- Committee member of the Psychology Society for almost 3 years.
- A Student Council member.
My priority will be to give opportunities to as many students as possible.
If I were elected as your Opportunities and Engagement Executive I would aim to:
- Create more opportunities to promote societies and sports clubs (Not just Freshers and Refreshers)
- Bring back Society of the Month
- Provide Health and Safety training for all committee members
- Increase communication between students and staff
- Make room booking more efficient (For example, be able to request specific rooms)
And a lot more.
From my experiences within the last 3 years, I know that there are things that still can be changed to provide the best opportunities for students.
However, I need your help to be able to make these changes and create a better university experience for you.
As a caring and ambitious person, I will make sure to listen and prioritise you the student.
