Hi, I am Lara, over a year ago I moved from my home town Stockholm, Sweden to Leicester to study at DMU for a better future. Since then I have gained massive experience in most aspects of being a university student.
University life is not easy and my aim is to encourage you to make the most of your time at DMU, to engage in activities, sports teams, societies and most importantly your course work. I want to create a space where students feel like they have a voice and can make a change.
I am genuinely interested to be there for you, my fellow students, to create a safe environment for students to be able to speak up. I am an approachable and friendly face and I want you to feel like you can come to me with your thoughts and to have faith in that I can help you make them come alive.
