Hi, My name is Giselle Kandekore. I am standing to be elected as the student representative for our second year in fashion design because I would like to ensure that all of my peers on the course are represented and heard.
As a second-year student, I believe I have a good understanding of how we all felt about the course as a whole last year, and I feel with your input, I can communicate the solutions to any issues we face during our time of study.
As your representative on the fashion design course, I would aim to ensure that:
- Everyone's voice will be heard as well as their opinions of the course modules.
- Decisions made by the student reps will be beneficial for all undergraduates.
- The student body is kept informed of the decisions made by the reps.
- Events such as catwalks and showreels will be accessible and students will have a say in how we showcase our work.
In order to deliver these aims, I will give you opportunities to inform reps of what we can do to improve your experience – because you know best what you want to change.
I would be honoured to represent you during our second year and to be given the opportunity to make a positive impact on our university experience.
