My name is Aisha Labiqa Mahomed, and I am standing to be elected as a course rep for Year 2 Pharmacy because I would like to ensure that all views from all students are taken into consideration. As alredy being a course rep for year 1, I believe than I can have an impartial view to the matters of the course and as a result to improve the compatibility of the course with the help of you.
As your representative on the Year 2 Pharmacy course I would aim to ensure that:
- Anyone can make their voice heard and express their opinion about the course.
- The students (you!) are kept informed of the decisions made by the faculty.
- Decisions made by the faculty are to the benefit of all the students.
To deliver upon these aims I will use my previous experiences of being a course rep and a lead charity volunteer. These experiences have given me many skills required to take the responsibilities and become your course rep once again. As well as this I will endeavor to give you opportunities to inform me of what I can do to improve your experience-because you know best what you want to change. I know how impactful the course rep role can be - being able to consolidate thoughts, set directions and to make the journey at DMU a unique experience for everyone. Especially for those who want to reach out and need a moment of help and assistance.
I would be honored to represent you during the coming year and be given the opportunity to make a positive impact on your university experience.
