Hello My name is Finley Jordan. I previously served as a first and second year student rep for photography and video ( BA HONS ) In that time I ensured that all your feedback and issues was passed to as many relevant people as possible. I also montored and delt with any concerns and issues before they became a problem to course life.
As a third year student representive I will ensure the following.
( 1 ) talk closely with tutors and relevant departments on long standing issues and concerns
( 2 ) I will commuincate closely with the whole of the third year student group to ensure any local and personal course issues are adressed
( 3 ) I will ensure that critical timetabling issues are at a minium
( 4 ) I will Strive to make sure all crticial course systems work well to your advantage and as easily as possible.
( 5 ) I will make sure all opinions and views are noted down and taken in consideration
( 6 ) I will continue to make in person teaching is smooth and as safe as possible.
Being a student rep in the first two years of univeristy life has allowed me to understand course peers alot more, and I am more passionate than ever to ensure that the third year is the more sucessful yet. now that covid restrictions have been eased I will work even harder and close to all the relevant people to ensure that all my pledges are achieved as effectively as possible. I know commuincation hasnt been as strong as possible but I am confident that this year will not see the same issues and will work hard to ensure constant commuincation is established in every corner possible online or in person.
