A little bit about me! :)

• I am studying single honors Psychology and I am in the second year of my studies.

• I am a hardworking individual who has had experience in leading change. I have represented those around me in both academic situations and in my role as a society committee member last year; which benefits me in this role to take action for our Psychology students.

• I love my degree making me passionate about Psychology and ensuring that I can get the most out of my degree to have the best career prospects! - This is something I want to help ensure for all of our third-year students who are going on to their future careers or further study; which is why I have decided to nominate myself for course rep this year.

What I will do for you:

1. Liaise with staff and students like you to ensure clarity, communication, and representation to insight positive changes, especially considering the implications and the aftermath that COVID-19 has brought for our studies.

2. To support students to address any concerns or issues that they may be dealing with and bring this to the university's attention; so that students are properly supported and cared for so that they can focus on their studies.

3. I will represent our course to safeguard our academic interests to ensure that our degree is led by the students who make up the university- after all, we pay and study hard to be studying at DMU and our academic interests should be paramount.

4. Be a friendly face and a kind listening voice to listen to any concerns, worries or general suggestions to represent our students and attend all meetings with a keen outlook to incite positive change to benefit all of us.
