Who am I?

I’m from Norwich and love venturing to the beach. I also spend time working on myself at the gym. I chose Aeronautical Engineering after applying to the RAF and taking an interest in aircraft design. I chose DMU as my location of study to make use of the vast career opportunities in the area, working alongside aviation companies nearby.  I am running for Course Representative once again for our promising Aeronautical Engineering course.

Why choose me?

I believe in filling my time to better myself and improve my environment. Organising the Flight Club and assuming the Course Rep role last year have given me the much needed experience in communication and leadership necessary to take on this position again. I promise to listen to everyone to make sure each opinion is heard. I will strive to optimise the course for everybody.

What have I done so far?

  • Surveys: A sked for personal opinions on the way the modules are delivered and answered questions regarding the course. I have delivered a high level of student support, with fast and friendly responses.

  • Helped develop the course for next year's cohort with the idea of a programming booster, which allows those who are less confident with MATLab to prepare them for a complex MATLab assignment in the Flight Mechanics module.

  •

What will I do for you?

  • Encourage Gateway to provide industry connections for aero students, like the rest of DMU engineering

  • Increase communication between faculty and

  • Remain heavily involved in Flight Club; allowing me to provide instant friendly support and experience to those who seek a future in aviation.

  • Work with tutors to improve second year in preparation for the following students.

  • Strive to optimise the course to obtain the accreditation the DMU Aeronautical Engineering Course needs
