Hi!
I'm Georgia, I'm 20 and I'm originally from Northampton.
I would like to be the course rep for third-year Psychology with Criminology because I am keen to ensure the best academic experience for all of us in our last year. I am also not afraid to speak my mind and get my point across to those higher up.
There are a few things I'd like to help improve for us, including:
- Better and more robust moderation of coursework, so that we all have the best chance and markers aren't marking to their own criteria.
- Ensure the information given to us for the coursework is the greatest it can be - this is particularly in regards to the style of essay and essay specific expectations.
- Try and make workshops interesting, as at the moment they can be tedious and boring.
- Ensure there is something to gain by attending lectures, and lecturers aren't just reading the slides word for word, which is something we could do at home
So there are my basic goals as a course rep, however, I consider myself to be very approachable and I want to help implement as many of your ideas too!
