HI! I am Mia and I am from the Philippines. I am running to be your Mature Students' Representative and currently doing Global MBA. As a mature student, I am fully aware of the struggles most of us are facing. Problems like time management, writing reports, language, use of technology, and getting involved with the activities of the university. I am not used to giving manifesto and making unrealistic promises, but as a mature student, I would like to try my best to:
- Maintain the participation of mature students' community with the activities and campaigns of the SU.
- Increase your awareness of the services available for your better student experience and adjustment to university life.
- Actively support and listen to your voices, regarding the mature students' issues and concerns.
I hope my short manifesto was clear enough to tell you about my plans in the role and the changes I would make.
