I am Simranjeet Kaur, successfully graduated with BCom in Accounting & Finance degree. Currently, I am studying MSc Accounting & Finance. I am here standing to be your Postgraduate Students' Representative. I am a student with a hankering to be and let others to be gleeful about the life.
Having completing my education in different schools and college, gave me an insight and desire to help and cheer myself as well as others to success in their aim. I have performed different roles until now like a Tax Assistant, Retail Assistant, Festival Assistant, just to colour myself with peculiar skills.
Now, I want to sway for postgraduates by making sure to contribute my intentness to your experiences. I decided to do this to develop my understanding of new applications as well as the immense issues surrounding that will upgrade and open up new doors in my education. With this in mind, I strongly believe different students have different issues that need to be heard and which when solved will contribute to the achievements of DMU.
What can I bring to a DMU student:
- Represent your interests to the Union and University.
- Bring awareness of postgraduate students’ support mechanisms to the students.
- Working closely with other Representatives to improve needs and preferences of postgraduates’ students.
- Foster the connection among students through variety range of campaigns and awareness raising events.
