Hello, my name is Hannah and I’m running to continue being the course representative for Criminology with Psychology.

I am an organised and driven individual, with representative experience by being this years’ Social Secretary for the Music Society and Secretary/Vice-President for the Jazz Band. I am also a Student Ambassador for DMU. After being course rep all throughout this year, I have learnt an awful lot about how the course is run and what goes into improving and developing our course. This year, I have worked hard with staff to improve modules, such as the Research and Effective Practice module, and to give students other means of getting support on assignments.

Next year, I want to introduce improvements to group assignments by introducing a peer feedback sheet, so the grade given is as accurate as possible. I also want to continue making students aware of all the support that the School of Applied Social Sciences can give. What else would you like to see changed? Find the Crim with Psych Facebook Group and let me know!

I think it’s pivotal for students to have a say in what goes on in their course. Course representatives are the best way of making sure that the course meets students’ needs, wants and expectations. I am looking forward to hearing YOUR feedback.

I am dedicated to making the university experience the best it can be for everyone by providing support, a shoulder to cry on, and the guarantee that I will get your problem sorted.

Your vote means a lot to me and it is very much appreciated. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions or just to have a chat with me about anything course related!

See you all soon.
