How did it benefit you?
DemonFM was probably the single most fun, and important thing I did at university. It introduced me to all the skills fundamental to a radio producer. With all the equipment, editing softwares, and support from the university and its lecturers, DemonFM really is a breeding ground for the future of the radio industry.
What advice would you have for current students to help them enhance their employability?
Make the most of DemonFM alumni – loads of people would be willing to give you work experience just because you’re a member of Demon Media
Make the most of student radio...enter Student Radio Association awards/go to SRA conferences/work on DemonFM! Try everything – you won't get the opportunity again.
