Democracy at your students' union

Students are at the heart of DSU - we are led by you and are here for you. Every student at DMU automatically becomes a member of the students’ union (unless you choose to opt out) and therefore can elect the student leaders of the union who will be responsible for representing them within the union and the University.

Every member of the students’ union is able to get involved in, and influence, decisions that are made within DSU including campaigns, policy, Executive Officer scrutiny and voting on key issues at the Annual Members Meeting.

Getting involved in DSU is one of the best ways you can help make a difference to the student experience so do take advantage of the opportunities that are available to you.
