The DMU Placement Power Society was established to help and guide all DMU students seeking a placement opportunity.

Formed by returning placement students, the Placement Power society prides themselves on securing 12 month industrial placements for students.

Industrial placement schemes are an excellent way to showcase and demonstrate your skills and ability to work in the real world successfully, which is exactly what your future employers are looking for!

Throughout the year, we aim to host a number of events such as:

• Talks from the committee and other final year students who have just completed their placement year

• Workshops to provide 1 to 1 advice and mentoring

• Regular ‘Drop in’ sessions for all members who may have queries

• Talks on how to stand out and what you can expect during the application process
