We at DMU Hindu Society believe it is important to educate ourselves and our fellow university members about our culture & religion, this is why DMU Hindu Society has decided to take itself further and give itself a greater presence on the internet and social networks!

We believe that we should be able to communicate globally with our members and providing a unique and enlightening experience.

We aim to achieve this through the use of workshops at our weekly Aarti and Social events, which can really help people, get to know each other. Our weekly events take place every Tuesday at 6.30pm in the Queens Building 0.15 (Next to Kimberlin Library).

We believe that combining our own culture and upbringing that we can enlighten and inform our members.

DMU Hindu Society is proud to be a part of the National Hindu Students Forum (NHSF), this is the largest body of Hindu students in Europe. We have also been accredited by the RBS Enterpriseing Student Societies Accreditation.

Alongside that, we work hand in hand with our partners at Leicester University to provide a wide reach of education, cultural activities and gatherings.

This helps us learn from and teach one another as well as helping introduce new people.

Our motto is simply... In unity there is strength!
