Demon Media

Demon Media is the university’s media society. It gives students the platform to not only build skills but also give a voice for issues important to them.

What Can You Get Involved In?

We have four different strands:

• Radio – host your own radio show or work as a producer
• Digital– work in front of or behind the camera
• Magazine – write or design articles for the Demon
• News – discuss local or global issues on our different platforms

You can be involved in all four or just one, the choice is yours. You also don’t have to be studying a media degree, all you need is an interest and a want to create to join our group. Don’t worry if you have no idea how to use our equipment, we will teach you everything you need to know.

Demon Media has a vast array of links to industry and these links are ever-growing thanks to the success of our past members.

Annual Membership: £8

Our annual membership fee supports the funding of our events and activities throughout the year. The membership also gives you access to state-of-the-art facilities such as our radio station and TV studio. It also gives you access to all four strands. Membership can be bought at any point in the year, and all memberships will expire at the end of the 2023/24 academic year.
