We are thrilled to announce the by-election results for the Welfare Executive Officer position. After a rigorous nine-round process, we have our newly elected officer: Adejumoke Adewola!

The initial quota to reach in the first round was set at 1051.5 votes. However, as no candidate reached the quota in the first stage, the Re-Open Nominations (RON) option was eliminated, and the votes were redistributed among the remaining candidates.

This process continued for nine rounds. In the ninth round, Adejumoke Adewola received 788 votes, meeting the reduced quota of 724.5 votes, and securing a successful election to the position of Welfare Executive Officer.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Adejumoke Adewola. We look forward to seeing how their passion, dedication, and commitment will benefit our student community.

We would like to express our gratitude to all candidates who participated in the by-election, as well as to every student who cast their vote. Your active engagement in the democratic process strengthens our community and ensures your voices are heard.

We look forward to working closely with Adejumoke Adewola as they assume their new role as Welfare Executive Officer. Together, we will continue to empower and support our students, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive.

Congratulations once again to Adejumoke Adewola, and thank you to all who contributed to the success of this by-election. Stay tuned for upcoming initiatives and opportunities to engage with the student community as we shape a brighter future together!
