Students have raised concerns about accessing refreshments during summer teaching while campus catering facilities are being refurbished.
The concern was initially brought to us by Paramedicine students, who highlighted that short teaching breaks did not always provide enough time to access alternative refreshments.
Following this feedback, the University has advised that academic staff will be asked, where possible, to provide students with longer breaks to allow sufficient time to access refreshments from outlets off campus.
This is an interim measure while the University-wide catering refurbishment is completed, with new and improved catering facilities expected for the beginning of the new academic term.
Still experiencing difficulties?
If you are currently attending teaching on campus and do not have sufficient time during your breaks to access refreshments, please let us know.
