This is your chance to represent De Montfort University (DMU) on the national stage!
The Government is bringing in a new Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) which is a way of recognising and rewarding excellent teaching (and fixing it if not). There are opportunities for both student ‘panel members’ and student ‘assessors’.
Here at De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) we think it would be great to see DMU represented on TEF through YOU, and that’s why we’re urging you to apply now!
Both panel members and assessors will be entitled to a fee in recognition of their work in assessing submissions and attending meetings. TEF expect the fees to be in the region of £8,000 for student panel members and £5,000 for other roles including student assessors. Travel, accommodation and meal allowances will also be provided.
The deadline for applications is midday on Friday 1 July 2016 so you’ll have to get your application in quick!
