DMU students have created training on Harassment and Sexual Misconduct in association with DSU, the Leicester Violence Reduction Network & Loughborough University Students’ Union.

This training is now live on the Learning Zone "Understanding Harassment and Sexual Misconduct E6 Mandatory Training Course Understanding Harassment and Sexual Misconduct E6 Mandatory Training Course

All DMU students are now required to complete this training which offers clear, practical guidance on:

- Recognising inappropriate behaviour

- Understanding your rights

- Developing effective bystander skills

As part of DMU’s commitment to creating a safer campus, there is now a centralised hub for information and support relating to sexual misconduct or harassment "Harassment and Sexual Misconduct" Harassment and Sexual Misconduct This resource brings everything together in one place, including:

- Clear reporting options — whether you prefer to report anonymously or make a formal report

- Support services on campus and externally

- Straightforward guidance on university policies, procedures, and what to expect after making a report

 

DMU has also launched a new Incident Report Form, making it simpler and more accessible to report any concerns directly to the university "Incident Report Form" Incident Report Form

Please make time to complete the mandatory training as soon as you can and familiarise yourself with the new reporting tools and support available. Together we can create a safe and supported community at DMU.
