Congrats to Keira!

We’ve seen hundreds of happy graduates this week but we think we’ve found the happiest of the bunch.

That’s because DSU’s very own VP Welfare and Community Keira Rounsley graduated from her Arts and Festivals Management with Drama course on Tuesday of this week – and was one of the first crop of students to graduate from DMU’s new venue on campus.

Keira said: “I am absolutely ecstatic to graduate.

“I think it has been a real rollercoaster but I have learnt so much about myself, and I have learnt real life skills that will stay with me forever.

“It was on my journey that I realised I wanted to help others, and that’s why I got to where I am now.

“I don’t like cherries but you could say my time as an exec at DSU has been the chocolate button on top of the cake!”

DSU would like to take this opportunity to congratulate both Keira and all other students graduating this week on their achievements.

Was the tassel worth the hassle? You bet it was!
