Thank you to everyone who responded to our previous statement about the proposed changes at DMU. Many students have told us they feel left in the dark, and we’ve shared this feedback directly with the Vice-Chancellor. In response, she has confirmed she’s open to meeting with student reps to talk through the plans and hear your thoughts, questions, and concerns.
This is your university, and your voice matters. Constructive conversations are how change happens. You don’t have to agree with every decision to deserve clarity, honesty, and respect and we hope all communications from students reflect this in return.
If there’s something you want to say, now is the time. Whether you’re worried, confused, or simply curious, please email your questions, ideas, or feedback to studentvoiceleaders@dmu.ac.uk, and we’ll ensure it’s heard at the highest level.
If you’re an elected rep and would like to meet with the Vice Chancellor directly, let us know and we’ll help make it happen.
We’re here to represent you, and we’ll keep pushing for transparency, inclusion, and student voice at the heart of every decision.
Thank you, and please keep sharing your views!
