It’s not every day you get the chance to welcome a Baroness to the DMU family, but that’s exactly what’s happening later this month!
Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon OBE is going to be invested as DMU’s new Chancellor on Friday 22 January and the university is inviting all students and staff along to take part in what we’re sure is going to be a right exciting bash.
If you’re interesting in popping along, you’ll need to register your interest ASAP by sending an email to VIPevents@dmu.ac.uk before Friday 8 January.
Students need to include their name, student number and postal address, staff need to include name, department and work contact details.
Baroness Lawrence is a truly inspirational figure and we, along with everyone else at DMU, are genuinely excited that she is going to be the face of the university on the world stage.
