The fencing is up, walls are coming down and the people wearing hard hats have moved in.  The work on transforming the Campus Centre into #YouNewDSU has well and truly begun!

£3million is being invested by De Montfort University (DMU) to make your students' union incredible!  The new space will be modern, airy and a great place to spend time during your DMU adventure. Want to know what it'll look like when finished? Check out the amazing flythrough.

Now the work on our new home is in its stride, it's time for DSU to temporarily move out of the Campus Centre.  We'll be closing the doors at our Campus Centre home at 5pm on Wednesday 13 July and opening in the Art Factory 9am on Monday 18 July.

The Art Factory is located just across the road on Mill Lane and will be our temporary home until the end of the year (when we'll be re-opening the refurbished Campus Centre).  In the Art Factory you'll find all the DSU activities and representation teams, as well as Sulets, Tech service and of course your exec officers.  The DSU Welfare centre will be changing name to Advice, and will continue to provide free support throughout our move.  Please do come and pay us a visit!

The DSU Shop will be staying in it's current location of the ground floor on the Campus Centre.  They'll be closed 18 to 22 July as they'll be at Graduations, but then they plan to be open as usual throughout the development.

As part of #YourNewDSU we're also having a rebrand! A new logo and style will be launched on Wednesday 20 July, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Throughout the development process we'll be keeping you updated on our website.  Click here for all the latest news.

It's all very exciting!
