We’re proud to show off the latest flythrough of what the Campus Centre at De Montfort University, home to De Montfort Students’ Union, could look after #DSURevamp.

The centrepiece of the campus is due to be overhauled in an exciting £3million development over the next twelve months to give students more space for relaxing, socialising and to make your student life exceptional.

We’ll have even more space in the new building, taking over the downstairs areas currently used as a food hall and retail units, plus there will be more dedicated space for your DSU executive officers and staff to ensure we make your time at DMU the best it possible can be.

CPMG, who also designed the Hugh Aston building and DMU’s brand new Art and Design complex, will oversee the project.

Adam Redfern, VP Media and Communications, said: “I am extremely excited. This has been a long time in the making and it has been a privilege to be a part in the development process.

“We have taken students’ views on board at every stage and I hope they will be happy with the outcome. This will be a proud home fit for De Montfort Students’ Union.”

Max Mcloughlin, Chief Executive Officer of DSU, said: “We have to thank DMU for recognising just how important a new students’ union building is and for helping us and our students realise this vision.”
